Current Projects:
Factory Relocations:
Australia to Philippines - we are currently carrying out the complete relocation of the
manufacturing and assembly lines for a large multinational specialty printing company.
This project involves relocation of all machinery and equipment from Australia to The Philippines,
and requires us to carry out the disconnection, preparation for international sea freight,
packaging and containerisation, sea freight, and then upackaging, installation, and commissioning in
The Philippines.
Sydney, Australia - a large Australian Corrugated Box Manufacturing and Printing Company
contracted IMS to carry out and manage the complete turnkey project of decommissioning, disconnection,
packaging, transportation, reinstallation, and commissioning of all machinery and equipment.
All the equipment was relocated from their current premises in Wetherill Park to the new location in
Smithfield. Although only a relatively short distance compared to many of our relocations the same
preparation, logistics, and commissioning requirements applied.
Australia - one of Australia's largest CD&I recycling companies contracted IMS to carry out and manage the
complete turnkey mechanical installation and electrical design and installation of their new state of the art
recycling facility at Eastern Creek. This involved liaising with various international suppliers and designing
and manufacturing a fully automated control system with remote control facility.
Consulting:
Sydney, Australia - consulting to a large recycling company providing project management and
design services for the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of a new recycling facility.
Xinxiang, China - consulting with Xinxiang civil construction companies involved in local
infrastructure developments to assist with quality and efficiency improvements.
Nigeria - consulting with Nigerian local governments to assist with waste management and
recycling facility design and construction.
Contracting:
Sydney, Australia - a large multinational glass manufacturing and proccessing company contracted
IMS to provide an Engineering Manager at their head office in Sydney. The client was in need of
engineering support in many areas of their operation and IMS was able to improve the efficiency
and productivity of the factory operations whilst reducing machinery and equipment downtime.
Programs were also designed and implemented to develop ongoing process improvement and develop
an attitude of pride and ownership amongst the production staff and workers.
Sydney, Australia - design and installation of lighting and power in a department store for a large
fashion retailer.

Ardagh Group (Australia to Germany):
Australia to Germany - IMS was chosen to carry out the complete relocation automated can
manufacturing and assembly lines for Ardagh Group, a large multinational containers manufacturer.
This project involved relocation of all machinery and equipment from Australia to Germany,
and required us to carry out the disconnection, preparation for international sea freight,
packaging and containerisation, and sea freight to Germany.
SITA Resource Recovery (Australia):
Sydney, Australia - consulting to SITA a large international Sesource Recovery company providing
management and process improvement strategies and systems for their maintenance and engineering departments.
MAHLE Engine Components (Australia and China):
Australia to China - IMS was chosen to carry out the complete relocation of the
manufacturing and assembly lines for MAHLE, a large multinational car parts manufacturer.
This project involved relocation of all machinery and equipment from Australia to Northern China,
and required us to carry out the disconnection, preparation for international sea freight,
packaging and containerisation, sea freight, and then upackaging, installation, and commissioning in China.
The project was completed in China in mid winter with work being carried out in -35'C temperatures!
DANA (Australia, Thailand, China, India, and South America):
Australia to Thailand, China, India, and South America - IMS carried out the relocation of the
manufacturing and assembly lines for DANA, a large multinational car parts manufacturer on behalf
of a global logistics company. These projects involved relocations from Australia to Thailand,
India, China, and South America and required disconnection, packaging and containerisation,
sea freight, upackaging, installation, and commissioning.
Unilife Corporation (Austrlia and China):
Australia to China - Unilife a large Medical Plastic Extrusion and Injection Moulding Company
contracted IMS to carry out and manage the complete turnkey project of decommissioning, disconnection,
packaging, shipping to Asia, reinstallation, and commissioning of all machinery and equipment.
All the equipment was specifically designed for manufacturing medical grade plastic products
and was installed in positive air pressure displacement clean rooms with robotic unloading.
This required specialised lifting and moving equipment to ensure that clean room floors remained
undamaged, and the opening of clean room walls and subsequent reinstallation of the clean room
facility after the machinery had been removed.
Tailim Packaging Co (South Korea):
Seoul, South Korea - IMS is the preferred service provider for emergency breakdown repairs to the
machinery in the corrugated board converting factory and has been called on to urgently send specialist
repair technicians to repair machinery on a number of emergency occasions when breakdowns have occurred
